Bill Collector In A Box
October 8, 2007 – 2:29 pmAlthough I do not have debtors being an online merchant because my customers pay me upfront, debts and creditors are part and parcel of business life. If anyone tells you that business is a breeze, don’t believe them! Let me tell you that as a person who grew up in a business family, working in a business entity and running my own online business, it is very common to owe and be owed!
The problem only arises when people default on their payment or simply refuse to pay up after years and year of dragging. In my job, I have come across people who have not paid up their debts for fifteen long years! We could of course engage a lawyer or debt collector to get the job done but we are Chinese and don’t like to spoil a business relationship like this. Moreover, we like giving people a second chance, or a third or fourth! Besides, lawyers and professional debt collectors don’t come cheap either!
I came across a software called Bill Collector In A Box by Marauder Corporation which is a software that is supposed to help us to “chase” for our debts easily and regularly without losing track. It is possible to lose track and miss applying regular pressure on the debtor if we have many of these bad apples and we don’t even have to pay a third party to do so.
Using this software, we can even report our debtor(s) to the Credit Bureau and Shared Check Authorization Network (SCAN).
Just so you know, this software, compatible with all Microsoft Windows operating systems, is sold at $99. However, there are still services that are billed as you use the software and report these debt accounts to the debt recovery company behind Bill Collector In A Box. Even so, what I like about it is that I will no longer need to have direct contact with my debtor(s) and that makes it so much easier to recover my debts with the almost automated debt recovery system that is the Bill Collector In A Box.
You know, Chinese are very sensitive towards having good relationships even with our debtors so I would willingly pay for these features but luckily, the rates here are very reasonable.
