For My Problematic Skin
October 30, 2007 – 11:58 amToday, I went to this site called Beauty Expert. Heh… if you look at me you would think that I do not care about my looks but I DO. I have spent a small fortune on my problematic skin but nothing seemed to work for the long term.
A friend told me that I should upgrade my budget for professional beauty and skincare products and not buy these from the supermarket shelves. I know, I am a cheapo. In fact, I made an appointment at the beauty salon not too long ago but I failed to turn up because of my tight work schedule.
I know I need to devote more time to my image. I was told that we only have one “face” and if we do not take care of it when young, ravages of time, environment and stress will all show up on our face and that it will be too late to do anything. There is a Dermalogica beauty salon near to my house, I think I should make an appointment with them.
I think that I should be ashamed for not taking care of myself when my make friends are all starting to spend even more money and time on their beauty regime. Hah… I lose out to them! I think that they could have been influenced by magazines and media like TV and internet. Also, most of these metrosexuals are Western educated. Those who are locals born, bred and educated are not as concerned. ISH!
