Home Office Women
October 8, 2007 – 3:26 pmThrough blogging, I got to know of a few successful ladies who are working from home. Some have their own business, some are collaborating with their husbands while some are in a partnership wit their friends.
I know this is the dream of almost every married woman, especially those who have young children to be able to earn a substantial amount and yet have the flexibility to stay at home to work at their own pace and hours. With this flexibility, they would be able to spend more time with the children and bond with them.
Frankly and realistically though, how many women are this lucky? For every woman who is successfully earning from home, there are hundreds more that ARE working from home but not actually bringing in an income.
Whatever it is being a home office woman, she has to be ultra disciplined to work and not slack the whole day away. It could be rather lonely as well when you are your own colleague and there’s no one around to talk to you.
