Live Chat Support For Online Businesses
October 16, 2007 – 9:18 amToday, I received an email from a company trying to sell me their live chat support system for ecommerce site. I shall not link to their website, though because I need to be fair to everyone, you know?
This company is currently having a promotion where we will be given three months of obligation-free trial. During this trial period, we would have full use of the features. After the trial period is over, if we wish to continue with their live chat support, we will only have to pay US$10 per month.
That’s about the only payment required because they do not charge any set up fee or upgrading fees. From my research on live chat support for ecommerce sites, this company has one of the lowest rates. Usually, support services companies would charge an arm and a leg for their services because we are running a business using their applications and surely we could pay them, right?
I would love to use this as well but I know that I will end up chatting with my friends instead of customers *sigh*
