Push A, Hide B
October 16, 2007 – 11:11 pmA couple of weeks ago, I went to a store to buy something as they were having a sale. So I bought Item A which actually is one part of a set. I remember distinctly that they do have the second part when I last shopped there so I bought the first half hoping to buy the second half to complete a set, even at normal price.
So after the promotion was over, I went to the same store hoping to buy the second half but I could not find it!
I am convinced they do have the item but have hidden it for the time being. Is that possible? Yes, although I have never worked at a retail store before, I know that they do have some tricks up their sleeves where they shift their goods to different spots and bring them out or hide in their store.
I pity the sales boys and girls who are not being paid well and yet have to carry the heavy goods here and there, in out, up and down. Don’t you notice that as well?
So right now, I don’t have a complete set although the item by itself is usable. I guess I will continue to hit the store regularly hoping they will bring out the other part.
