Sell Using A Voice Over Talent

If I have the chance to return to school, I would like to continue with my marketing course. I think that it is really interesting to study the mind of a consumer and the things that influence people from the fine line between buying (and parting with their money) or not.

Take for instance TV advertisements. We can at least have an idea of the product that is being advertised. However, this is not the case for radio advertisements. On radio, the effectiveness of an advertisement very much depends on the voice over talent and the way he or she “sells” the product or service to the listeners. Can you imagine the hard work and innovative ways that a voice over talent has to put into a short advertisement like that to pique our interest?

I can tell you it is not easy and I am glad that is not my job! Therefore, I really applaud people like Don Capone who tackles each voice over assignment as if the product or service that he is trying to “sell” with his voice is his life-long passion.
