Stay Away From Ponzi Schemes
October 2, 2007 – 10:47 amLast evening, a friend told me that he received an email with a proposal to invest a sum of money in a ponzi -like scheme. Err… I told him to trash that email and stay away from schemes like that. If he wants to invest, by all means do it through legitimate companies with professional staff and not some shady fly by night set up whom he hardly knows who owns the “company”.
My friend has long been thinking of investing into a low risk plan and I told him to consider investing into gold. I have read that people have been rather successful in their gold and other precious metal investments. I too would like to invest into something steady and long term like this. At least the risk is almost zero if it is done right and handled by professionals.
