Strange

Late last night, I received an email message from the designer, David Airey, who sent out a mass email asking people who had participated in his recent Bonanza contest to remove the link “logo design” that pointed to his website.

So, I removed it and went to his blog to see what the matter is. It looks like Google has penalized him and hammered down his search rank. I am not sure if his Google page Rank suffered too because I am not aware of his Rank prior to this.

Anyway, it is a pity that a fun contest with good intentions of giving and sharing has ended up bitterly like this. Hopefully, things will right itself or that Google will consider his appeal.
