Update: Clarins Truly Matte Challenge

A month ago, I wrote a post on Clarins Truly Matte Challenge. Then, there was no further information other than a teaser about an upcoming Challenge. Well, I received an email update from Clarins letting me (and everyone on their mailing list) that the Challenge has begun.

Firstly, I specifically remember that after receiving the first email, we were supposed to sign up with Clarins if we wanted to be updated on the Challenge. Well, I DID NOT sign up because I did not qualify but I am still getting this follow up. That means they don’t follow their own insurance but just shoot the mail to EVERYONE on their mailing list, interested or not, qualify or not.

But never mind, I am giving them this exposure.

In my last post, I wrote that they are giving out an Acer laptop, Samsung mobile phones and mp3 players. I see that their NEW prize pool has the following prizes:

A trial product from Clarins
A FREE skin consultation by Clarins
An Acer notebook
A mobile phone
Clarins grooming classes for 50 students from YOUR college (if your college has the highest number of participants)

Missing are the Samsung mp3 players but the poster is still showing the players. Too bad for having your hopes high of winning a Samsung mp3 player!

This time, the contest rule states that the contest is open to all Malaysians and they did not set an age restriction like they did in the first email. perhaps they have decided to allow more people to participate. However, one of the prizes is a grooming class for fifty college students. What makes them think that participants are college students now that thee is no age restriction and even if someone is college-age does not mean that the person is attending college.

According to the rules, members of the top four teams will each walk away with a mobile phone and a laptop. That’s rather worthwhile to participate
