Why Are Metal Buildings So Popular?

If you ask me why Metal Buildings are so popular, I don’t think I have an answer. I remember that metal buildings were very common years ago but then they were replaced by more fancy brick buildings but now, metal buildings are making a comeback and more and more people are using it for their home or businesses.

The reasons that I can come up with are Metal Buildings are cheap, seriously way cheaper than buildings of other material. Moreover, they are very spacious and can create additional space for our house where we can park our vehicles or use as an office, workshop or garage. There are so many uses and I am only taking about using them in residential houses.

I have to wonder though, given the heat in tropical Malaysia, if there are practical because it could be like an oven inside unless we install air-conditioning. On the other hand, people in the West who enjoy a cooler climate may find metal buildings really suitable.

The ‘scary’ thing is that my dad is already thinking of building one by our house to use as an office cum storage place. Heh, I admit we do have lots of junk but do we need to build a metal building just for that?
