Wordze: King of Keywords
October 16, 2007 – 8:46 pmAs a blog for pay blogger, I always wonder why advertisers seek to promote a handful of particular keywords. I do know that there are websites that purposely have a full page of misspelled keywords to trap searchers who have misspelled in their search. My interest was further piqued when I received an assignment for the key phrase “buisness to buisness”. As a professional, I did not question the advertiser but just inserted this phrase into my blog post.
Just now, I had the chance to give Wordze a trial run. Wordze is a dynamic keyword research tool where subscribers could check for keyword density of their website, check what similar keywords their competitors are optimizing and keywords that are commonly misspelled, like “buisness” instead of “business” and also keywords that are related to their own. Like Enterprise instead of Business.
I find that this is a very powerful service that every commercial website would need. If you take out a subscription for Wordze at http://www.wordze.com, you can easily analyze how your site fares for site or product specific keywords in the major search engines and how they are doing compared to your competitors.
You can then further optimize these keywords or phrases via contextual links. This will drive up the rank and link weight of your site and you will notice that your keywords will be rendered higher in the major search engines too.
If you are wondering how this could help your business, well, web browsers and internet searchers will only visit links on the first few pages of their search results. I know I will not have the patience to check each link after the fifth page. Most people give up after the second page. Therefore, if your site appears in one of the back pages, you will not be able to garner traffic from organic searches, hence losing out on business to your competitors who are ranked higher than you.
I would like to clarify that this is not a method to game the search engines but rather reaching out to people who need your product or service with search terms that they use when looking for what you are offering but have not been able to find. Analyzing your keywords is like finding the key to unlock your potential customers.
If you would like to try out Wordze, you can take out a day trial for $7.95 where you will be able to use the full services of Wordze for 24 hours. Or you can also take out a monthly membership at $35 per month. I understand that this is a time-sensitive promotional offer so act fast to take advantage of the low membership rate.

LOL Stefani,
Me too, and I did wonder if the phrase was a real typo or if that was what the advertiser wanted. But it sure was odd!
