Yahoo!, eBay and PayPal Collaborate
October 9, 2007 – 2:07 pmA few days ago, I read on Yahoo! Business that Yahoo! eBay and PayPal are joining forces to curb fraudulent, scam and phishing mail. This will create a safer environment to eBay and PayPal users who are using Yahoo! Mail. Personally, I have had many such emails falling into my Junk Folder of Yahoo! Mail but I think nothing of them because I am not registered with eBay or Paypal with my Yahoo! Mail account.
Even so it is scary to receive this email even though they are filtered because sometimes we could suffer from lack of judgment due to sleepless nights 
I think the best would be to not even allow such email to come through, Junk Folder or not! I hope that Yahoo! will lead the way in showing other webmail providers that this is possible and hopefully all other companies will follow suit and rid the chance for phishers to trap unsuspecting victims.
