A New Nursing Home

Someone set up a new nursing home opposite my house and am running it like a business. I think that it’s awful of them to take advantage of the situation that the elderly people are facing. They have no one to care for them at home so the children would rather pay the fees to the nursing home so that the elderly are taken care of and have some friends. It is said that hundreds of thousands of senior citizens spend their days not having the chance to talk to people at all. There is no human contact and I think that it is a sorry state to neglect them like that. Therefore, I think that nursing homes are a good option provided it is not run like a business.

This morning, I came across a website that provides better care information to the elderly. Should people require placement in a nursing home, they too could match the person with the right nursing home in the UK.

BetterCaring.com is more than an information site. It’s a site where people share their care experience with other members and visitors and I think that a lot could be learned from the experiences of others. If you are in the same boat, why not check the site out?
