November 12, 2007 – 12:35 amI wonder if the cinema business is not as profitable as it used to be. I mean, we now have so many entertainment options now why would people want to go to a cinema and torture their ear drums with the almost always extra loud volume and get their ears blasted off? I am sure you notice that too!
Just a few short years ago, every year, I will always receive from a particular cinema a pair of complimentary tickets. Then it was reduced to a free ticket IF we buy another ticket.
This year, all I got was a voucher which will entitle me to a free ticket but only when I purchase two other tickets for the same show. I just want to say, “Why bother?”
Since it is so damn hard for them to give free tickets then might as well totally do away with the idea, right? It’s a lousy idea anyway. Tell me, is there another organization which shows customers their stinginess?
P/S: For non-Malaysians, I would just like to clarify that the title actually means: Buy two and get one free
