Can’t Escape From Mortgages!
November 18, 2007 – 1:33 pmMy sister told me that she is on the look out for cheap mortgages. She said that when she first signed for a mortgage, she did not know any better and ended up with a mortgage with a high interest rate, compared to her friends who also bought a house around the same time as she did.
I told her that remortgages are great if she could save money and repayment period. Thirty years of repaying the mortgage loan could be real tiresome, don’t you think so? it scares me to think that mortgages are some thing that we cannot escape from if we want to own a home because we are not that lucky to be able to purchase a home in one lump sum of cash!
I told my sister that this time, she should do her research and compare as many remortgage plans as possible before making a commitment! I wonder how many times she would be able to remortgage her home. Haha!
