Establishing Sales Connections
November 21, 2007 – 9:41 amI told a couple of my friends who are in the sales industry about Salesconx and they are very receptive of the idea where they are able to monetize their existing contacts and at the same time establish new connections via one networking portal. Yes, they are also registered with other networking sites but this is the only site that we know of that caters exclusively for sales professionals. That’s because this was set up by sales professionals too so they know what’s important in the industry: CONNECTIONS.
By using the facilities of SalesConx, someone with established contacts would be able to broker them with interested parties for a fee. And people would willingly pay this amount because it saves time and energy and cuts down on cold calling. Personally, I too would rather pay some money to be introduced directly to decision makers of a company. This lead has a better chance to convert into a sale for my company, without wasting time in researching too.
Just like it is a great way for sales professionals to buy connections via direct introductions, SalesConx is a great platform for people who already have established contacts and already gained the trust of these influential people in their respective companies, people who can decide to buy or not to.
These people who have established contacts may or may not be sales professionals but by using SalesConx, they are able to make something out of their network of contacts. What I like about the portal is that membership is free and we are the ones who determine the value of our connections. Of course, we would need time to find a good balance so that there will be takers but there is nothing to lose because it is free, anyway, except for the small commission that SalesConx charges per successful brokered transaction.
If you are worried of the quality of these connections, don’t be. SalesConx has taken pains to evaluate membership and each person must meet the minimum three years of experience in this field. I think it is time for me to dig out my collection of business cards to look for potentials.
