My sister told me that many of the homes in her neighborhood have a pool. In Malaysia, having a pool at home is a luxury but in America, it seems like a standard feature. I don’t know how accurate her perception is, but according to her, it is not that expensive to build a pool. I wonder if it is worth it when a pool could only be used for half a year because of their climate.

A former colleague of my sister contacted one of the oldest phoenix pool builders to get a quotation for a kidney-shaped pool for her home. She said that she does not want such a large pool because she is afraid of the maintenance cost but a pool would be great for the kids to play in.

I just came from the website of Cameo Pools, Mesa, Arizona’s oldest pool company. You just have to check it out to see how beautiful the pools are constructed. They look so natural. It would be a great idea to build a pool here too but then I would be too busy to get to enjoy it!
