Making It Easy For Your Buyers
November 12, 2007 – 7:37 pmI always believe that as Sellers, we have it make it as easy as possible for our Buyers to make payment to us. If you plan to be in this long term then be prepared to invest a little time and money to get your payment processors ready.
This is also the reason why when my friend told me to close my Maybank account, because they have a reputation as “blood suckers”, I refused because the have the largest network in Malaysia.
Besides Maybank, I also have bank accounts with Public Bank and HSBC while I am able to accept payment to my mother’s CIMB account. Other than this, I can accept payment to my overseas bank account, via PayPal and process credit card payments.
With all these options to make payment, it will be very convenient for Buyers to make payment to me. With a direct payment and instant transfer, I am able to ship the package out without holding the Buyer.
