Refurbishing A Taurus

November 12, 2007 – 1:07 am

My friend, Steve, told me that he has been spending his weekends refurbishing his father’s old car. It’s not that old in age but it is in looks. Steve said that since the car is not able to fetch a good second hand price, he might as well repair it and use it himself.

I wonder if it’s worth it, though, seeing that Steve has been spending a lot of time and money on looking for original spare parts for the car but Steve said that I will never understand the feelings of a car lover. Oh, well!

Now I am absolutely certain that he had forgotten how he spent the whole of two weeks just looking for an original Taurus Radiator and had to S.O.S. me for help and how I finally found it for him online. Bah!

He still owes me dinner but I think that he will tell me to wait till his Taurus is roadworthy once again!
