Resourceful & Informative Parenting Site
November 16, 2007 – 10:37 amA couple of days ago, I wrote about a friend who got married rather late in life. Now that he is 40 years old, his son is only a month old. However, age does not make one a good parent because I think that parenting is an acquired skill through experience, trial and error.
I told him about Lila Guide which I came across a couple of months ago. This is a resourceful site where parents would be able to share their joys and problems in bringing up their children, discuss about places to get baby items at great bargain prices, chat about the peculiar habits of their children and so on.
Although this site is targeted at mothers from what I see, I know that my friend, as a father for the first time at his age, is all the more interested in providing the best he could for his baby not only in terms of financial support but the whole works to make up for lost time.
If you know of someone in a similar situation, perhaps you would like to recommend this site to him. Lila Guide is a very informative site for parents no matter if they are first time parents or not.
