November 29, 2007 – 12:11 pmYesterday, I received a phone call where a lady asked me if I was so-and-so. She introduced herself and said that she was calling from Celcom and the first thing that crossed my mind was, “Oh, shit… it must be all the posts on my blog dissing Celcom and somehow they traced me.” Call me weird but that was really what crossed my mind! 
She said that Petronas is giving out vouchers worth RM5 in the month of December for Celcom users. She asked me if I wanted that voucher. And I said, “What do I have to do to get that voucher?” you see, I am so sceptical that there is no free lunch in this world that I was sure that was a bait to get me to bite. She said that I did not have to do anything and if I wanted it, I just had to say so and she would put in my name. Now, isn’t that weird that if it’s free, that she had to ASK? Don’t we all want something free? Yes, even if it’s only a RM5 voucher!
So I said, what’s this voucher for? Can I use it to buy gas or oil from Petronas? No, no, no, she said. This is a RM5 voucher that is applied towards your Celcom December bill. Oh… so that’s Rm5 off my Celcom bill. That’s great news. I think they should do it monthly!
