Think Global
November 12, 2007 – 10:39 pmWhile some people are unhappy that eBay Malaysia has imposed fees on Sellers, they wonder why eBay cannot be like Lelong. Well, at this point of writing, Lelong is still geared towards the national market while eBay has always been a global market.
There really is no way that we can compare the two of them because both have different target markets.
With the convenient withdrawal of PayPal funds now, Lelong has now made it easier for Sellers to accept payment via PayPal. Slowly but surely Lelong will be taking steps to break into the international market.
Well, they have broken into the Nigerian market earlier
Now, the fact that we sell online means that we are in a borderless marketplace. Why do you want to limit yourself to a national market when you can catch the bigger international fishes? Therefore, don’t whine that eBay has fees now because with the added features will help you to sell your products in any of the 38 global marketplaces.
