Petronas RM5 voucher

January 31, 2008 – 10:35 pm

Just to back track a little to refresh your memory, I was contacted by Celcom sometime in November 2007, asking me if I would like to receive a RM5 voucher from Petronas. Of course I would but was a little skeptical and not sure if it was a prank call or whatever. I asked the caller what I was supposed to do if I wanted the voucher and she said that I did not have to do anything. Well, she told me that the value of the voucher is RM5 and sponsored by Petronas but what I would be getting is not a voucher but RM5 deducted from my December, 2007 bill.

I never see any RM5 deducted from my bill though and there was no RM5 voucher from Petronas either. It is not that I am hard up for the voucher and in fact, we are not customers of Petronas but it was promised to me so I was looking forward to it.

Time passed and I soon forgot about it even when another Celcom staff called me up earlier this month to offer me RM5 X 4 McDonald’s voucher. Anyway, the good news is that I received a RM5 Petronas voucher from Celcom yesterday which was sent separately from my latest bill. Yes, it is a voucher valid until 30th September, 2008 at all Petronas service stations and Kedai Mesra.
