Celcom Bill On Demand

A long time ago, I wrote in a post and wondered aloud if we are charged for using Celcom Bill On Demand. I wondered because there have been quite a few times where my messages were sent but I never received a reply at all.

If I were still on Celcom’s prepaid plan, I could easily check how much I have lost by sending a Bill On Demand SMS request because I could check my prepaid credit before and after sending that SMS. However, if I were on a prepaid plan I would have no reason to request for Bill On Demand.

Being on a postpaid plan, it is not easy to find out by myself because by the time my bill comes around, I would have forgotten that I made a Bill On Demand request already!

The other day, I had the chance to speak to a Celcom staff over the phone and she told me that it is M0.15 to send an SMS to 22200 and It is RM0.30 to receive their SMS reply. Eeekkk

So now I know!
