Don’t Tell Me My Panties Are Expensive!
February 2, 2008 – 12:45 amA couple of days ago, I went to Jusco and I thought I would check out their range of lingerie. I sometimes walk one round to see what they have, the trends and new brands.
Well, guess what? I saw a very beautiful thong decorated with crystal rhinestones so I checked the price and got a shock. I nearly fainted when I saw MYR89.90! I mean, if I were to convert this amount to a foreign currency, it is a price that many foreigners would buy.
For regular Victoria’s Secret, you could hardly find anything cheaper than US$7, and those are just cotton panties, OK? But to sell a thong, even if is studded with crystal rhinestones at MYR89.90 and in Ipoh? I wonder how long it will be left hanging on the shelf!
So, for mine, MRY20 on average compared to MYR89.90 is “nothing”!
