PayPal Withdrawal Delays
February 8, 2008 – 8:25 amA friend of mine told me that his PayPal withdrawal has taken more than two weeks and asked me what is up. Well, I do not have any idea because I did not withdraw from my PayPal recently.
However, from the looks of it, this is a problem that has affected quite a few people, from what I gathered. The thing is, people are not even able to cancel their withdrawal and the transaction status is set at “PENDING” since day one. In my friend’s case, like I mentioned, it has been more than two weeks and now, we are having a long holiday here in Malaysia due to Chinese New Year and all banks are closed.
Well, they can’t be much help. My friend made a call up to Public Bank and they told him that they did not receive any advice from PayPal. He called up PayPal Singapore and was told that this problem is affecting all Malaysian accounts, his money is safe and there is no need to be alarmed as they are working on this problem and will help to clear the funds as soon as possible.
