Preloved Goods
February 23, 2008 – 11:32 amSome of my friends have no qualms buying second hand products. They will buy used shoes, clothes, bags, scarves and accessories. I know a couple of guys who would even buy used lingerie. But let’s not go there!
Personally, there are things that I would have no problem using second or third hand, like a refurbished car or even mobile device, as long as it is cleaned first and I have no problems buying and reading dog-eared books but if you were to ask me to wear used clothes that I have bought over the internet, boy, that sure gives me goose bumps.
Don’t get me wrong, wearing hand-me-downs from my own siblings are fine but buying them from total strangers and wearing them would be another ball game. Simply put, it’s geli. What about you? Are you comfortable with wearing preloved clothes and shoes or even lingerie? Yes, don’t be surprised that there are people who buy vintage lingerie to wear too
