Update on PayPal Withdrawal Delay
February 20, 2008 – 12:05 pmIt has been almost a month since I withdraw my PayPal funds to my debit card. A friend who was caught by the glitch told me that his funds are still no where to be seen in his Public Bank debit card and the problem is on PayPal’s side as the status still showed “Pending”. My friend made phone calls and wrote emails to PayPal and at this point of writing, his funds are still not cleared since he made the withdrawal on 23rd January, 2008. My, that was AGES ago!
The thing is that PayPal told him that they are working on the problem and that what he should do is just check on his PayPal account daily. HHmm the staff thinks that we are so free to log in daily just to check?
Don’t you think that they should have placed a general announcement on their website already since despite being told by eBay that this issue has been resolved, clearly it has not, not for my friend, anyway, and I am sure he is not alone.
