Illinois-Shaped Cornflake Sold For US$1350
March 25, 2008 – 12:48 pmDid you read about the news that two sisters listed a cornflake that is shaped like the American state, Illinois, that was sold for US$1350 on eBay? HHmm when people say that America is a land of opportunities, you better believe it!

At first, the two sisters listed the cornflake on eBay but the auction was pulled down for violating their FOOD policy. They are lucky that eBay did not ban their account! On their second attempt, they decided to put a “coupon” on auction which is redeemable for this cornflake that is shaped like Illinois.

For comparison’s sake, I also found a map of the state of Illinois. Do you think that this cornflake is really like the shape of Illinois? Let’s start sifting through our cornflakes and see if there’s any shaped like the other states of America. If not, we can always “shape” them ourselves, right?!?

The funny thing was that the buyer had previously bought a “largest piece of cornflake” on eBay but when it was delivered to him, it was in three pieces. Haha!
