Making A Bold Fashion Statement With Crocs
March 18, 2008 – 2:54 amIf you are even slightly aware of fashion trends, I am sure you would have noticed Crocs sandals EVERYWHERE!! When Crocs first came to Malaysia, I was thinking to myself, “Oh, what ugly CHEESE sandals these are!” Soon after, I received a pair of Crocs of the original design as a gift. I still thought that they were ugly and only wore it around the house. However, I was very surprised that Crocs are so comfortable to wear!

Not long after that, Crocs became so popular that they came out with a range of other designs. I guess once you have a winner on your hands, it’s only logical to expand on the idea.

From what I understand, Crocs sandals were at first made to cater to the sailing community. Because of the material used, Crocs are most suitable for boating because of its non-slip feature. Soon, people started wearing these as casual sandals and the bolder the color the louder the fashion statement the wearer makes!
