PayPal Daily Withdrawal Limit Lifted

March 6, 2008 – 11:02 pm

If you are a PayPal member who is from a country that Paypal allows to withdraw to your Visa credit or debit card, then you would know that the daily withdrawal limit is US$500. This includes the US$5 PayPal service fee, leaving you with US$495.

I think that US$5, though slightly high, is an improvement from the days when we were unable to withdraw our PayPal funds at all. If this is the amount you have to pay, then maximize your withdrawal by withdrawing the maximum allowable limit. I do this all the time.

However, I was told that a Filipino, a PowerSeller on eBay, wrote in to PayPal to request for an increase in his daily withdrawal limit. Guess what? Not only did PayPal increase his limit from US$500, they even lifted his withdrawal limit! Can you imagine that?

With an ability to withdraw an unlimited amount of PayPal funds, I am not sure how what quantum he has to pay PayPal. Surely it can’t be STILL US$5?
