Withdrawal of PayPal Funds to Local Bank Account
March 4, 2008 – 9:05 amI was just at the Philippines eBay Discussion Boards and was surprised to learn that PayPal Philippine users are now able to withdraw their PayPal funds directly to their bank account.
Hey, can you believe that just a year ago, Philippine PayPal users were not able to withdraw or transfer their PayPal funds anyway at all, while we Malaysians were at least able to transfer our funds to a trusted party to help us with our withdrawals?
Late last year, many countries in the region were then able to withdraw PayPal funds to a Visa debit or credit card but now, Philippine members have over taken us.
While I have no problem with transferring my PayPal funds to a bank account, this is the not the case with my fellow Malaysians. But it is no great loss. From what I read from the experiences of Filipino users, transferring funds to their debit or credit card is way cheaper than going through their local bank account. So if you are not yet able to withdraw your funds directly to your bank account, don’t fret. You, at least, are still able to get hold of your funds through your Visa debit or credit card.
