I Hate Making Calls To Customer Service
April 9, 2008 – 1:23 pmYes, the title of my post says it all. Hhmm I wonder why they make us wait on the line as if our call is free. 1-300 numbers are not free which means to say that we are paying to listen to advertisements.
And that’s not all. When the customer service person answers the phone, he/she does not check how long you have been their customer and they try to trouble shoot your problem from the beginning as if you are a newbie…. and meanwhile, you have to explain everything again and again your problem whilst listening to the telephone bill running.
This morning, when I was on the phone with the customer service of a company which I shall not name, the lady kept telling me that the network is down that was why I could not access their service. Then after a long while only could I manage to get my call passed to the technical department.
Aiya, if she could not help me then don’t hog the phone line la. My problem is still not solved yet though. I hope I don’t have to call them again!
