Google Alert Is Broken
May 7, 2008 – 3:25 pmIf you have read my post last month, you would know that I am looking for Genpi.com coupon codes to buy a laptop backpack. So I set my daily Google Alert for Genpi.com
I did receive alerts from them but you know what? These are all coupons from ages ago that people have posted on the internet when they were still valid. And then Google pulled alerts of Genpi.com products from the Genpi.com website. Don’t you think that is pretty stupid?
Why would I want to know of expired products or some other product that is on Genpi.com that was not even newly listed? When I set my alert, I expect it to alert me of my keywords from the time I set it moving forward. If there are no new content on the web, then don’t alert me. Duh!
