It’s A Small World
June 25, 2008 – 4:45 pmYou may have read that my computer was struck by lightning the other day and I had to take it to the computer repair shop to troubleshoot to make sure that it was the network card that fried and nothing else.
So when I was there and the network card was found to be the culprit, the technician loaded my computer and saw my ID “cyberpartygal” on my messengers. And he asked me if I trade in LowYat forum and I said I did, a long time ago. He said that my ID is rather familiar and that he has seen me around in LowYat Forum before.
So I was wondering since I am such a low key member there, how come he noticed me? Then he said that he sometimes received my email when I have new stocks. I was surprised because I never spam people with my email but I do update my buyers when there are new arrivals.
Then it dawn on me that this guy bought from me before and I specifically remembered that he bought an Oscar de la Renta at RM40! Boy, this guy sure has taste! I also remembered that I was requested to send the item directly to his girlfriend in Ipoh.
I was so amused to have met one of my buyers in the strangest of circumstances. It is a small world indeed!

Friends, no lah, he’ll just know me as an online seller and I will know his as a staff in the computer shop. LOL
