MayBank Petronas Visa Credit Card
June 17, 2008 – 7:46 pmThe other day, I received a telephone call from a lady who introduced herself as a staff of Maybank’s credit card department in Shah Alam. I think she got hold of my details as I am a Maybank account holder.
Anyway, she said that I qualify for a Maybank Petronas Visa Credit Card and she will be sending it to me via courier and it will reach me in three weeks’ time. It seems that I did not even have to submit an application form and that there is no terms and conditions for me to read because there are NO terms and conditions.
She did a brief “interview” with me and I know that she was filling out a form over at the other end of the phone. What she wanted to know was to verify my mother’s name and my MyKad number. She even said, by herself, that I earn minimum MYR2,000 per month.
Oh well, let’s see if the credit card does arrive. Of course, I could choose to activate it or not.

Hai, i get the call from Maybank as well, and i did call them back to double check whether it is prank call. So they did confirm there is this guy exist and i do receive the credit card come with a TnG.
But did you receive a leaflet says that if you swipe your card above RM50 within certain days after you activate your card, you entitled to received a Parker pen? But up till now i did not get anything.

No, I did not get that Parker pen offer so until now I have yet to swipe my card, though it has been activated already.

i receive the same call, got my card after 4 weeks…after i called them up yesterday…but my does not have TnG card even tho during the brief tele interview i did mentione i want it. Or does TnG is built into the CCard? and how the heck i activate the damn card…so lousy…no instruction and do i have to mail the top portion n sign off…but mail to where? jeez….
