Divide The Ride Carpool
July 2, 2008 – 5:38 amThe other day, when I wrote about coping with inflation, my friend told me that one of the best solutions for escalating fuel prices is to carpool. Well, that sure is easier said than done because all of us have such hectic, differing lives that it is not easy to find someone to share a ride with.
This morning, I learned of Divide The Ride which is specifically set up with children in mind. I remember during my school days, my parents had a lot of running around to do ferrying the three of us to our various out-of-school activities, in addition to regular school.
If you are like how my parents were, and I know many people are also in the same boat, you should check out Divide The Ride. You just may be able to find someone you already know, who would happily share driving duties with you and at the same time, save on fuel! With the uncontrolled escalating fuel prices, it sure is timely to participate in a carpool program like Divide The Ride!
