Is It OK To Sell PayPal Funds?
July 27, 2008 – 12:28 pmSomeone wanted to know if it is OK to sell his PayPal funds. Well, he could do it but it is not OK in PayPal’s eyes. I don’t know why he would want to sell off his PayPal funds when he could easily withdraw it to his Visa credit card or even Visa debit card. Why would he want to sell it at a lower exchange rate?
Also, if the money is cheated by his trade partner, he would have no recourse at all. I know of a guy who has been selling his PayPal funds without a problem. This happened when we still were unable to withdraw our funds locally. So after numerous transactions with the same party, they have gained each other’s trust.
I guess the sum sold became larger and larger until one day, the buyer of his PayPal funds did not remit Ringgit into the Seller’s local bank account like he usually did after receiving the PayPal funds. And so, the guy just lost money to the tune of almost RM10,000!
That was then and it was a different scenario. Since now we can withdraw it ourselves, do it. Trust no one!
