Online Professional Reputation
July 29, 2008 – 12:31 pmI was telling my friend how important an online reputation is especially for people like me whose livelihood is dependent on the internet. I am sure most of us have developed the habit of looking up a name on the web, especially when we first get acquainted with the person. That’s why it is imperative to have a professional online profile!
This morning, I was introduced to an online lookup page which is like an online directory of professional people. Each member has a personal web page with information on their credentials, websites and contact form. I think this is a great way to have our personal contact information kept private and yet we are reachable by others via our Look Up Page.
Having a look up page allows us another avenue to bring our professional name forward to gain extra exposure on the web. It is highly search engine friendly so if you are looking to advance your online reputation, this is what you should have.
