31% off Every 31st
August 2, 2008 – 6:27 pmI was in Kinta City on the 31st of July, a few days ago and was pretty surprised that a long queue has formed in front of Baskin Robbins. I thought that they were having a promotion or something but I later found out that this promotion happens on every 31st of the month!
I wasn’t aware of it since I hardly noticed their advertisements but this time, I really looked to see what was behind their rationale of having an odd discount figure of 31% and on the 31st of the month as well. This means that every year, there will be seven times of promotion.
If you look at their logo carefully, you can actually see that their BR which stands for Baskin Robbins, has the figure 31 in it. For illustration purpose, I have enclosed their logo here in my post. You can see the pink colour part of the logo which shows the number 13.
I think that it is pretty innovative of them to celebrate their company and brand this way. Surely, it has made a pretty good impression on me and I will now remember their 31% off on 31st promotion forever!
