eBay / Samsung [Malaysia] Charity Auction
August 30, 2008 – 12:30 pmSamsung Malaysia, in collaboration with eBay Malaysia, is running an awesome auction for a total of six weeks. The current item open for bidding is the beautiful Samsung i8 multimedia digital camera in blue.
As far as I know, the retail price is MYR999 for this beauty but some online stores may sell this lower. What is the price eBayers will be willing to pay for this blue i8 Samsung multimedia digital camera? As this is a charity auction, all proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization in Malaysia, Rumah Kanak-kanak Angels in Kuala Lumpur.
What makes this series of auctions from Samsung so enticing is that the starting bid is only RM0.88 but I never understand why people would want to place their bids so early in the auction and help to push the price up. Sure, this may be a charity auction, buyers still want a good deal, right?
Whatever the winning bid is, the price comes with free shipping within Malaysia, plus free earphone and 2GB SD card. So there’s no miscellaneous cost to it. Awesomeness!
