Ipoh PIKOM PC Fair II
August 28, 2008 – 11:38 amI have marked my calendar for Ipoh PIKOM PC Fair II from 14th - 16th September, 2008. As usual, it will be held in Stadium Indera Mulia, which is good because it is convenient for me. Hehe!
Anyway, I don’t plan to spend too much, not that I have too many things to buy in the first place, but I will have to buy colour ink for my Epson printer. That thing is an ink guzzler, I tell you, but I am not going to spoil the print head by using compatible ink. Genuine cartridge is not that expensive. At least, I don’t think the difference in price would be huge.
I may buy a pendrive. I don’t have one right now and have been lugging my external drive around, when a pendrive would suffice. It’s not a “must buy” though. My friend told me that there’s plenty on sale during PC Fair but how come I don’t see any? Maybe it’s because I always only managed to drop by on the last day when all the good stuff have been swept by hungry consumers already. LOL Maybe this time I will try to make it a point to go early…. or maybe grab my stuff from PC Depot’s Gila Sale.

Ever thought about getting a color laser printer? The long term cost of that may actually be lower if you keep the printer for a long time and print a lot. The quality is quite good too.

Yes, but I don’t print that much to justify the cost of a color laser printer. It’s way more expensive than ink colour printer.
If I were to purchase a laser printer, it would have to be black & white printer.
