Leaving It To The SEO Gurus
August 13, 2008 – 10:45 pmStudies have shown that if our website is listed on the front page of the major search engine, our sales would increase by a certain percentage. Off hand, I could not remember what percentage it was but I remember that it was something between five to eighty percent.
Those of us who make a living on the web know that it is a very competitive world out there with all of us striving to land on the front page of the search engine results, of course preferably on the number one spot.
Some people do not know that our standing fluctuate all the time so while we may be number one today, we may fall to the second or even third page of the search engine results, affecting traffic to our website and consequently, drastically reducing our sales volume.
Therefore, to play the SEO game, we need to work at it constantly, consistently. However, a business person would be better off hiring a company that offers SEO services to do the technical work and concentrate on what he does best, i.e. business.
Like my friend, Paul, he could very well get a California SEO company to take care of this aspect for him while he continues growing his business.
