A Career In Medicine
September 11, 2008 – 11:38 amI remember a long time ago, when we just graduated from high school, some of my friends chose to study medicine because they wanted to be doctors. What scared me was the amount of time they spent studying until they did not even have a social life!
I think that doctors nowadays have it easier because they could easily just log on the web and get whatever medical information they need. Remember the old days of flipping though medical journals, either spending thousands of dollars a month buying them or spending precious hours in the library checking up on particular disease? Those were what my friends did!
Now, with their PDAs and smart mobile devices, doctors could check up on diseases, common or rare, from Acute COPD Exacerbation to influenza!
