I remember writing a post before that local companies do not take the time or initiative to read blogs and hear what people, consumers, are talking about their company or service.
However, this is the opposite with foreign companies because as a blogger with about three years experience now, many times, when I write about a foreign company, whether it’s a bank, a shipping company, a manufacturer or an online retailer, someone from these companies would drop by to see what I wrote about. They don’t comment, of course, but I do see them implement new changes.
However, I got to know that Bata is a company that would read blogs. I have no idea if this person from Bata did it in his/her own capacity or if it’s part of the job but I think that every company, big or small, should put someone on the web for feedback from the ground.
