Collecting Your Debt
September 3, 2008 – 9:52 amI was once told that one is not really IN business if he does not owe people some money, and others do not owe him some as well. I tell you, I am glad that running my own business, small as it is, I am free from debt and nobody owes me too!
When I was with a company years ago, there were outstanding bills owed to us for over fifteen years! You can imagine the stress this created on the guys in the finance department trying to recover the money. Our boss, though, was a kind-hearted guy who was reluctance to “chase” for what is rightfully his because he wanted to maintain good business relations with the debtors.
See, that’s why I am so glad to be free from all that. However, I think that if one does not want to be the bad guy, he could always engage the services of a debt Collection Agency. That would solve a lot of problems since there would be no direct contact.
While some debt collection agencies charge very steep fees for their services, American Profit only charges a flat rate for theirs. I think that this is a good opportunity for people to recover their monies. I don’t know about you, but if I ever find myself in this situation, I definitely would utilize the services of a debt collection agency!
