eBay Free Gallery Picture
September 17, 2008 – 3:07 pmI am not sure how many people, especially irregular eBay Malaysia sellers, know about this but eBay Malaysia is having a promotion where Gallery Picture is now free. It used to come with a small price tag, if I remember correctly, that was why I did not use this feature all that often, particularly when I know that I may need to list an item for quite a little while longer than normal.
Well, they are just following in the footsteps of Lelong, me thinks, with the free Gallery picture. I love it but I haven’t edited all my listings yet, I don’t even know specifically when they changed this policy (I wish they had informed us) but it is a welcome change.
Lelong subsidizes the cost of hosting our items with Google AdSense, so that’s why they could afford to waive our listing fees. I bet eBay also has found a handful of anchor advertisers and so could provide us with free Gallery Picture.
