PayPal Merchant Refund
September 7, 2008 – 9:28 pmI understand from a friend that by using Public Bank’s Debit Card, or any other Visa debit card, for the matter, to withdraw funds from PayPal, it is considered as PayPal Merchant Refund.
The sad part is that whatever reward points that she has accumulated from swiping her debit card is off-set by the withdrawals. Well, it does not affect me because I hardly swipe my card but she says that she collected the reward points so that she does not have to pay the RM24 annual fee.
Hhmm me thinks that the convenience of withdrawing our PayPal funds is worth way more than RM24 per year. At least we are withdrawing the money into our own account and we do not have to pay a middleman any service fee, if we were to use the services of a third party illegally.
