Shop Till I Drop
September 25, 2008 – 9:39 pmYahoo! It’s that time of the year again where the loyalty points that we have so diligently collected over the past three to six months are converted into cash vouchers! I may not shop as much as some people, hence my points are not too high but still, I managed to get some cash vouchers in the mail this morning. I am so happy. Like the saying goes, “Something is better than nothing.”
Receiving cash vouchers means another opportunity to shop! I guess this is a great time to start shopping for Christmas. I already have in mind what to get for the family; camping equipment for my dad, books for my mom, something pink for my sister and a luxury watch for my brother. OK, I may change my mind at the last minute but these are what I have on my shopping list right now. LOL
Also, I am going to be my own Santa Claus and reward myself with something. I have worked hard enough for the past two years without a break. I am not sure what I will be buying myself, but a vacation package sounds absolutely fantastic. A local tour would be good enough!
And then there are gifts for friends. For them, I have no idea what to buy yet but I am thinking of getting something fancy, something that would stand out but need not be too expensive. I may even decide to make my own Christmas cards. After all, it’s the thought that counts, right?
Wait a minute….…. my shopping vouchers would not be able to cover all these gifts! Maybe it’s time to charge that credit card again. SIGH!!!

Hahahha!!! It was just this morning when I thought “OMG!! What am I going to do for gifts!” and now I read this to be reminded “VOUCHERS!!”
I may not be buying any camping equipment though!! My credit card is well maxed already… hmmm, I wonder what the husband’s looks like!
I too want to shop till I drop.. but like you, I don’t think the few vouchers I have would cover my taste for designer fashions OR outdoors gear!! I may get chocolates!!!! (I love chocolates!)
