Shopping Bags
September 26, 2008 – 2:43 amYou know, I have always wondered why some people prefer to use the eco-friendly shopping bags that are sold at the mall. Sure they may be eco-friendly but they are so ugly!
Today, I realized that shoppers who shop with their own bags are given double reward points. Ah… no wonder! How come no one told me about it?
But I tell you, even though we could receive double our reward points by using our own bags and not those of the mall or supermarket, I think shoppers are better off using their own bags. Why should they buy one? Isn’t that a waste too? I think malls should give us each one free bag!
I think that from now onwards, I too will start taking a long my own bag when I shop. However, you will not catch me carrying one of those ugly eco-friendly bags. Good for environment or not, I would rather use my own shopping bag that I made myself!
